The IYL girls lacrosse program gives players of all skill levels the ability to learn the game of lacrosse from our experienced coaches and staff. Our goal is to provide a fun and safe learning environment for players to develop the fundamental lacrosse skills necessary to advance to the next level. Our priority is skill development and equitable playing time for all participants. The program runs from March 17th 2025 to May 31, 2025.
Age Eligibility: Girls currently enrolled as a 3rd or 4th grade student for the 2024/25 school year.
Included In Registration Fee: Reversible jersey, a t-shirt, 10 weeks of practice, 1 tournament, 1-3 weekends with a game.
Practice Location: Edwardsburg Sports Complex, 27566 US-12, Edwardsburg, MI 49112
Pre-Season Practice (3/17 to 4/4): Tuesdays Only - 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Spring Break (4/7 to 4/11): No Practice
Regular Season Practice (4/14 to 5/31): Tuesdays & Thursdays - 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Games: While we will do our best to schedule amongst our own local programs, we are limited to the number of teams available. We may ask players to travel to Northridge, Crown Point, Valparaiso, Kalamazoo, or Fort Wayne to play a game if necessary.
Equipment: Players are required to have their own stick and equipment. Please visit this

Playing Time: Our goal is to keep playing time as equitable as possible throughout games and encourage kids to learn all the positions on the field.
Play Up / Down: It is our current policy that players are not allowed to play up or down with a different age group. Certain considerations may be made due to roster size issues at the sole discretion of the IYL board / coaching committee.
Team Placement: Due to the size of our league we are not able to accept team placement requests
Additional Requirements: You must have an active
USA Lacrosse membership at the time of registration and it must be valid through the entire season.
Refund Policy: 50% refund prior to the start of the season. No refunds after the session has begun.
